Thinking of purchasing a carb synchronizer tool the one with four gauges. But are they worth investing in Question

+1 for the carbtune, comes in handy, easy to use and actually works Very Happy

Although if you've got a honda, may need to buy another set of the screw in nipples, threads are different on them Laughing

I had one of those cheapo ones, and it's OK, but you do need to be aware that you may need to calibrate it yourself, first. Quite often, the needles don't match up properly, on account of it being dirt cheap and assembled by colobus monkeys.

Another vote for the Morgan Carbtune - they're great.

I bought a set of four vacuum gauges from a company called 'Hadleigh Custom' back in the late '70s.They still work fine now even when I am working on six cylinder bikes with another set connected up alongside my set.Easy to use and store with no messing around with mercury.

Decided to purchase the cheap ones, thank you everyone for the advice. Only reason I purchased the cheap one was down to the fact I might be having the other one as a late Christmas present in February. So it was a just encase purchase.

Karma for the replies Karma
