Anyone heard of these? Any good?
Ghostbikes are doing 50% off on them so might bob down and get one.

I had a 70 quid LS2 reduced to 20 in their sale. Was the cheapest in their range and wasnt at all impressed with it, used it whilst I was on L plates for 4 months. I don't know about the more expensive ones though. Bought a few bits off GhostBikes and service has always been top notch from them for me Thumbs Up

what was wrong with? My main concern is whether or not my head is protected in a crash.
Looking at spending about £80-100 so a helmet with an RRP of £160-200 so would hopefully be a little better.
thanks, grant

A helmet for £20 that fits is better than one at £120 that looks good.

My helmet cost £10, it is the best fitting helmet I have ever worn.

Try some on, find your size and type of helmet Thumbs Up

It fitted well my head well, and I think it had a 4 start sharp rating. But the ventilation was poor and also the liner wasn't at all breathable, it made my head quite sweaty and it wasn't a very quite helmet. Also the quality of things like vents weren't great.
But that's what you get for paying less for a helmet. But like you said if you pay more you can hopefully expect better quiality matrerials and fittings. It wasn't horrible, just wouldn't recommend that particular one.
Most importantly try it on before and see for yourself. No substitute for getting it on your head.

Then go by their SHARP rating.

Mostly 4 star, but the FF384 only gets 2 stars and is particularly bad for side impacts.

I had one, it was a flip front, it fit well and had all relevent EU ratings. I only used it for a couple of months (got a new lid on impulse at the NEC bike show, could not resist) other than the wind noise with flip fronts it was OK, keep it as my spare now.
