In the middle of moving house at the moment, and it comes with my very own "Mancave". Shes roughly 6ftx10ft and already comes with a workbench built in complete with tiny vice, shelving for stuff and cupboard for more stuff. Plenty of room in there for two bikes and all my bike affiliated sh*te. Need to get it insulated asap and run a mains wire from the house for lighting and 'lectric.

https://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/408783_323203814387140_100000925721761_973691_1772976661_n.jpg

The shelving on the right above the blue cupboard has been binned and the blue cupboard moved towards the door since this pic.

Sorry for crap pic. Will get more/better ones when im permanently at the house.

Will update this too when im insulating in case anyone else wants to know how to do it. Also need to sort the window out as its a little draughty (sp?). Will probably take it out and put a sheet of perspex in its place when the time comes.

2nd rule of shed ............ don`t show anyone pictures of it especially on the tinternet whats in it, and how feable the construction and security is .........

(see rule 1)............. empty it, knock it down, rebuild (huge) it in brick, (man caves are NEVER big enough....EVER) then line the walls with insulation and steel sheet, spend a huge amount on extra power points with at least 1 or 2 30amp feeds to power all those man toys you`ll buy, then buy a garage alarm and CCTV to protect your man toys, look out of, and buy a 2nd hand oil burner to heat it for free on old engine oil. These use around 1 pint per hour. Everyone on your housing estate will be willing to give you the old oil from their cars after they`ve changed it, as it saves them having to take a trip to the council recycling place to dump it in their tank.

3rd rule of shed ......... buy a factory unit, and park a caravan in the corner to live/sleep in, and you`ll have a mancave to be proud of, without having to worry about annoying the neighbours

Ive just recently moved house and I picked one that had a good feature for me...

https://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c186/villersCBR/mess.jpg

Unfortunately as a result of the renovation its a complete tip, 99% of what you see here is going to the tip! Its got a TV and a radio already in there from the previous owner, it has 2 garage doors and a normal one, a workbench, its about 8m by 6m and will become my 'mancave' once I get it cleared. The best bit is ITS ALL MINE, the mrs has nothing to go in there and theres already room outside for 3 cars or so, therefore it will be the second addition to my 'ManKingdom' with my 'manroom' almost complete! Plan is to have the bike, a mini gym, a fussball table and possibly a commuter hack if I can manage it!

One day, I will have a mancave of my own that has a wide assortment of manly yet ever so nerdy gadgets.

Scalextric R Fail.

Everyone knows having lots of track doesnt mean a thing if you dont have the rest that go with it and hold drunken races on a saturday night with your mates.

That is win!

Sadly its not mine. I never had one as a kid. Sad

Can use either, both mean the same thing.

People started using flammable because the "in" part of inflammable sounded like it was not flammable, (i.e. like insufficient is not sufficient).

Both words are ok Thumbs Up .

I know Thumbs Up

It can also be widely argued, somewhat academically that removing 'in' from inflammable is due to Americanisation. Look at the film Duel for example.

Whatever though.

There is no argument about it, it was an American fire prevention agency that started the widespread use of flammable. If it has stopped one dozy Brit from setting themselves on fire then it can only be a good thing.
