yeah, yeah, I know its not a bikie topic but I'm struggling to get far on the plumbing forum.
I've got a four year old saunier duval f30e combi boiler with a leaky diverter. I've ordered a new diaphragm - now I just need some advice on how to change the damn thing without killing too many people / blowing the house up.
Incidentally I can pay anyone who wants to have a prod with copious amounts of sentinel x100 / x200 / etc.
oh yeah - vroom, vroom, shiny side up, etc. ____________________ TRX850, TDM900, ST1300, CB650SC Nighthawk, ragtop Saab, gym membership, messy divorce, large chested blonde fiance

-turn off cold water to the boiler.
-open lowest tap in the house. (slightly. to relieve pressure)
-there are 2 rods/tubes going into the diaphragm. remove their clips.
-you'll see 2 grub screws. Loosen them a bit and the valve will come off.
-undo the screws. (I would replace these screws)
-voila! diaphragm!
Now do it in reverse order.
Done
It could do with new o rings as well. (not necessary though) ____________________ Boris - London |
