boss's son has mullerd his am6 stock barrel and piston and boss has told me to big bore it as his son isnt exactly small and he uses the bike as a field bike so maby abit more poke will help . any advice on what kits are better etc? also carb wise any one know what mm the stock rs50 carb is?

AM6 covers most geared 50cc bikes. The 50 has a fair bit of poke anyway...I use mallossi when a AM6 needs rebuilding as they give you free stickers which are 5bhp each (:

read fail same engine ... its a am6 motor in a rx frame ,,,,,,

my mx went well just wants more gogo so 70cc'ing it

My (derbi senda) stock carb is 14mm. Some are known to be 17 though...?

I'd sell it and get a 125, more power as stock, needs no tuning or modifications and less likely to blow for those reasons. Gives you more poke.

and costs alot more to get one of same age / condition try get a 2010 125 for under 1k ... he gave £400 for it as a non runner got it running and 6 months latter spat a ring so yeah ....
