Looks a lot like it's from a T90 or T100 (350 and 500) unit engine of the 1960s, any part/ref number cast inside it?.

Don't think so, the Cub had the plug in the teardrop shaped part not further back like the one above.

I stand corected,big difference when compered together,that was my first bike, trials cub with a red tank.
