You're probably not doing the sex right... and judging by your previous comments you probably aren't even doing the biking right! Wink

At this moment in time Biking is EVERYTHING. I wish my life away so the working week is over so I can just ride...somewhere, anywhere good.

I don't mean ohhhh, I don't get SEX, I can get that whenever etc. BUT, biking is my #1 pass time and it's the best thing. I chill out, the working week stress just goes away and, if the weather is half decent, I can ride a 100 miles in a day and just love it.

No, nothing is better for me right now, (cept taking the Mrs out and having a nice meal and ...erm...nuptials) and I hope it continues.

I love my biking. Can't put it into words, I just love riding!!

Holidays. I enjoy holidays. Sun, beach, night clubs, bit of white - I'm as good as gold.

Unfortunately all can get here is the occasional joint Sad

So yes, biking is still my top entertainment. After splitting up with the misus I'm not in too much rush to do anything in that direction.
120 mph suit me fine.

I like holidays too, I also like sleeping, I also like going for very long walks.

Nothing beats the perfect ride feeling though, when everything just goes right. It's warm, the engine feels perfect, the tyres are sticky, you're leaning fully over, the roads are quiet. I love biking when it's like that, I love North Yorks, I love Cumbria.

Roll-on spring roll-on summer.

Summer riding, in conjunction with a couple of Becks Blue, on the bench with sun brolly, bike parked next to me, furthest bench from everyone, get there about 11am, opens 12.

Laptop working with me usb modem, music etc ..

Don't get much better than that ..

Watching the tour de france in garden whilst taking an age to clean and service bike ...

In bed with me two dogs fighting and a loving.

The feeling i get, when i actually put in a few hours of housework, and the flats not a tip ... least for a few days.

Come the weekend me bros dog injections are ' live ' in his mind, so introducing dogs to on another, and more long walks via his van to boot.

And right now, me new bargain lid rocks ...

Sometimes the promise of good sex is worth leaving the other bitch in the garage. (For an hour or two.)

Biking features quite low on my fun list. Well below shagging, eating KFC, eating cake, drinking, walking, playing Xbox, watching films, etc etc etc.

Biking is fun but I don't go out of my way to do it. If I had an afternoon spare I'd do as many of those ^^^^^ things as possible and wouldn't even think about the bike.

I dont really enjoy biking that much anymore, well at least on the roads.
It is nice when you get a hot day and you can open the throttle a bit, but now I'm worried about the police catching you or how bad the consequences are if you binned it.
Stick me on a starting grid at the race track though and I couldnt think of anywhere I would rather be.
I would love to sit on a beach with the Mrs in a hot country but given the ultimatum of 2 weeks holiday of 7 race weekends, I would pick racing every time.
A years worth of sex or racing.... sex would always win...

I actually find the thing I enjoy most about riding, in my short career, is going into the garage, seeing here there, putting my helmet on, my gloves on, and then starting her up, and gently riding out onto the drive.

Really?

That is the worst bit. I want a Wallace and Grommit type machine that dresses me, gets the bike out of the garage and sits me on it. I hate facking around getting ready to go out, it is the worst part of my commute.

There is just something poetic about it coming to life for me. Wouldn't feel the same if I didn't have a garage. I like to think I am an airline pilot making the basic checks - when running the choke in, I am giving the engines a spin, then running through a checklist, etc.... so sad.

I have no interest in bikes at all anymore. Too many thefts and the garage blowing my bike. Problems with the police and insurance company. Various other assorted issues. The 6 months I had them issues last year has destroyed my faith in my bike and completely put me off riding for fun.

It does however do my commute far faster than a car and public transport (which to be fair its quicker doing the 20 mile trek into work by push bike than it is car or public transport).

Afaik, many seem to lose the biking bug, but it nearl seems to always come back.

I think those that commute are less inclined to ride out as much.

When i get m bike running near on perfect, i'm going to do some fun ride outs !! Smile
