So you can pay £20 for your DVD all about getting through the Mod 1 Test.

Or you can watch the whole thing being done here for free:

Or you can go to any test centre and watch people doing it.

Or pay £15.50 and just do a 'dry run'... with the actual examiner telling you what you need to do... AND, if you do it right, he may even give you your cert there and then and tell you not to bother coming back!

It is called a training video because it is educational. This gives information on how to pass the test not just showing what exercises are required.

I bet I could still find all the information you have in your DVD online for free without the need to line your pockets with£20.

Hell I bet I can find enough information for you to pass your theory, mod 1 and mod 2 online for free. Then its down to the individual to watch, listen, learn and put into practice.

+1

Also, thanks to being able to ride solo on a provisional, I would say that a high percentage of people interested in taking the tests are actually proficient enough to perform all of these manoeuvres as it is. The real problem comes down to nerves and not knowing the test layout.

Except, hang on! If you download the layout here
Find one of these handy devices:
https://essentialsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/wtb05.jpg
And then perhaps, find some of either of these:
https://www.vksales.co.in/small-images/plastic-water-bottles-848790.jpghttps://www.hardwarestore.com/media/product/610620_front200.jpg

And then just search around on Good ol' Google Maps for somewhere to practise, well, we can actually try the tests rather than watching a DVD.

WHAT.
THE.
WHAT?

Next you'll be saying that you can learn during a test, but you can't pass during a lesson!

What kind of idiot priced the DVD more than the test itself? £5 worth at the most.

Training schools are businesses and personally I'd rather that as many of them as possible stayed trading. No schools means no licensees means no bikes.

However, it is hard to see the justification for a DVD that costs as much as a Mod 1 and a celebratory pint your fuel there and back, when the DVLA already provide plenty of videos themselves.
