Well not sure if any of you are aware i had a little hornet 600 that i put many miles on she was subtely modded with a ohlins rear shock and a sprint steering damper and a 17" front wheel , So the story goes i was riding to colege when some bint hit me off and well resulted in a bent frame and some bannan shaped forks!

so then the bike / damage
https://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/398711_10151130609035244_644755243_22354853_917061987_n.jpg
the forks once they are off

frame is alittle Fooked tbh ..

https://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll32/welshd1k/P1030219.jpg

i had a set of cbr600 fx forks here with lovely 4 pot calipers and a blade m/c waiting to slot in with my machined yokes(41 to 43mm)
testing the forks and bottom yoke on the fooked frame

so after alittle bit of hunting around i picked up a new frame and V5 , then the hunt was on for some bits and well i got carried away penske racing shock , black braided lines, choice of 2 arka cans , new fuel tank as mine was fooked, hornet cup rearsets and some other bits

Shocked Shocked

Thats one fooked Hornet!!

Glad to see you haven't given up on it! Hows the crash progressing?

And good choice on the Niffins!

I would also change the pic with your shock in as it contains your address...

Which exhaust won't you be using?

Sorry to hear about your crash. Did you go through insurance at all?

Good luck with the engine mounts and the rebuild!

You okay?

dum dum dummmmmmmmmmmm
well i droped my engine off at 9.30 had a phonecall at 11 to go and get it just got home with it. not the prettiest of weld but its solid and well was done cheap . could have aske dhim to grind it back and polish it out etc but whats the point? excess weld = extra strenght! so engine mounts welded and snaped exhaust studs(4) removed for £40 can complain tbh and was done fast so tonight i shall be busy ...

i thought the top mount wasnt too bad considering there was nothing there and i had no bits to weld back on just built it up and for some reason tried to shape it like the other side

also the third pic is the bottom mount that had started to 'peel' away .

i was goign to buy a new engine but i know the history of mine and well its cheaper this way Razz looking at a all in spend of £500 to get the bike back on the road... after my inshurance selling it back to me for 1p

Some good news some bad / inbetween .

Good news is my cbr forks have got some 9.0 NM springs in them allready and i THINK they might have been revavlved the internals look new and there is some fresh 15W oil in them now and some lovely new seals not that they needed any but i thought i had them and the forks where in bits sod it , Just thinking now that i know the forks have 9.0NM spings in them the 15w oil might be abit to heavy but shall wait and see.

Bad news is my rad is more bent than a bent thing its water tight just bent and the fan is buggerd / wonr turn because the cage is bent going to see if i can get it repaird / straighten it if not delcavic rad it is unless any one on here has one for sale?
