Save a bit more money and get yourself a cheap 7 style kit car or similar.

You do get a lot of the bike impracticality, but you also get stuff decent improved on either side - stability and ability to out perform most cars on the road.

Or for fun driving without quirky looks, but good 'every day' usability, a MK1 MX5 is an excellent choice and could be got for less than the cost of the silly three wheeler. You could always get a big can of pink paint if you want it to look 'different' and 'quirky' .

I don't think it's an age thing. I'm a spritely 27 (albeit only until monday) and I love the look of that thing. Having said that, I own a genuine (i.e, from ecuador) panama hat.

2 up, and the possibilty of a third, plus luggage, (two top boxes), top speed is going to be what, 35 mph, with the wind behind you? I also assume that any incline means the passenger has to get out and push.
