Ferry Booked for 8 of us in July to Bilbao from Portsmouth for 8 days. Planning on seeing some of the Pyrenees.

Anyone got any suggestions?

If it between 6th to 14th you could go via Pamplona for San fermin
you dont have to run with the bulls to enjoy the party its fantastic

and if its pyrenees you want head to Andorra via Jaca this will but you on the N260 a fantastic bike road

+1 on Andorra. Friend of mine went last year and said it was excellent. I'm planning on doing Spain for a 2-3 weeks next year and will definitely include Andorra.

San Sebastian is a good stop near the beginning depending on what time your ferry docks. I love the north coast for riding.

Those pics take me back - 15 years ago t'missus and I took 3 weeks off work and did that route down to the Med then up the other side and out through northern France. We went on a GSX750F fully loaded with camping gear.

Tip - new front pads and fluid a must. You'll spend a lot of time with your knackers against the tank steering round downhill hairpins.

Don't race the locals either...
