Hi guys,
Last friday I hit black ice and the wheels slipped out from under me, luckily I was doing about 5 mph around the corner so my bike hasn't got any cosmetic damage.

It was sideways for about half a minute while I got myself together and picked the bike up.

Is there any damage that could of been created by the bike laying sideways like that? Im thinking fluid wise. The bike is running now but im wondering if there is something i should be aware of.

Thanks Cool

Was the engine running when it was on its side?

Check all fluid levels and that's pretty much it.

You're fine, but check that there were no leaks from the battery. If in any doubt, check the levels in the cells and rinse the frame thoroughly.
