well i got mine from www.biketeam.co.uk it cost me £700 but i had an excess of £400 though, but as long as i dont bin it i should be alright my details were:

Age-17
Cost of bike-£2100
Age of bike- 2 years
Garaged- Yes
No claims bonus- 0 years
Convictions- 0

Thats it really, hope it helps

i always win at this one(not compaired to the oldies who pay peanuts) £350 fully comp and i'm 17, sorry but i got insured from a local company in the island

Your best bet is to set aside a day for ringing inusrance companies, try and ring at *least* 15-20... just because they quoted one person cheaply doesn't mean they'll be able to do it for the next.

Try rider direct. They always seem to undercut any other insurance company. Or at least they did for me! cost me £230 TPFT .....but I am 26 and my NSR is a 1991. They also did my mate his best deal on a CBR600.

im in the same boat as that crazy south African tony, i was looking for insurace quotes on the net-----> between £3000 & £1000!!!!!

it didn't seem right to me!

so can some one put down a full list of companies with net addresses, telephone numbers for me & my Crippled friend tony!!

If you buy a BikeTrader, there is practically all of the bike insurance companies listed in the back of there.

Each year i practically ring them all.
It always works, and i always manage to get the quote right down.

give motorcycles direct a call, im insured with them heres my details.

age: 18
bike: nsr125r1
year: 2001
garage: yes
security: alpha dot and a data tool veto evo alarm and imobiliser
bike value: £4200

for tptf they qouted me £540 but i got a small discount as im a member of the british motorcycle federation (BMF)
