passed my CBT yesterday. looking at a second hand "x"reg speed fight 2 scooter tomorrow. it is derestricted and as i am 16 does this mean i cant have it? help please thank you.

You can ride a 50cc limited to 30mph max, if it is derestricted and you ride it the insurance will be invalid, most people do it though so it is up to you if you want to take the relativley small risk.

Free if you do it yourself.

Not sure on the restriction of that ped. But my mates old prilia was a tube on his exaust that needed cutting off.

Other possibilities can be a washer in the inlet between your carb and engine. Or a insert in the exhaust manifold. These were on my NSR.

Sure if you did some looking around you could find full illustrated instuctions on your bike.

Save you alot of money by doing it yourself.

For a Speedfight 2 50, i have been told that there is 3 resrictions in place, if the exhaust has been cut it will be expensive to replace but if the other 2 places are de-restricted then it will be relatively cheap.
