Get mad? Yes, of course.
Act on it? No, not for many years. I've even stopped reactive use of the horn, it doesn't achieve anything except to aggravate the situation and keep you within range of stupidity.
"Can't change what just happened" is very sage. And kicking off is unlikely to change anything for the better in the future, unless you remove the culprit's ability to drive, which is likely to remove your ability to be at liberty.
Whistle a few bars of Still Alive and get on with enjoying your ride. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Oh it's just me then
Done it a few times..last year in Turkey after a near death experience when the wanker overtook on the brow of a hill then cut across my path into his restaurant courtyard..don't think he'll forget me in a hurry
Also did the drag out of car, keys across the road to a young twat in France; he thought he would intimidate me and impress his girlfriend...it ended with him reversing at speed in to my BMW 3-series. I leapt out whilst his bit of totty was giving him shit, dragged him out the car, lobbed his keys away and pinned him up against the car....a little bit of wee may have come out on his part
Got his insurance details etc...turns out it was mummy's car, so he was doubly in the shit
BTW, I'm 6'4" and quite erm, large... ____________________ '93 Africa Twin RD07, C-90,MTX-125,H-100,XL-125, a 125UAG(CG copy!) |

Twice
Once when two lads pulled out caused me to anchor on, (I was in the Mrs Fiat Panda at the time) They thought it was real funny slowing down then speeding up for the next mile. I wasn't that bothered until one of them gave me the *wanker* sign. I gave the little twat the v's so they stopped at the next lights and both got out and came towards my car.
All they'd seen was some old bald guy in a little car, the cunts. They didn't look happy when a 17 stone bloke got out and twatted them both, (I was well roided up at the time too ). They pissed off right quick then.
Skinny little streaks of piss that they were.
Another time it was nothing to do with me, a guy was driving like an idiot, wrong side of the road coming up to some lights, someone (not me) sounded their horn so he got out and started having a go at me, he was another young lad, built like a twig. He insisted I got out of the van.
So I did, and sat him on his arse in the road.
These were both some time ago, nowadays the little shits would probably knife you. (and I'm a lot older now)

Never really got off and went for them. Did stop the bike 2 up when a guy reversed out of his drive and proceeded to verbally abuse him.
Taken a mirror from a transit van who cut me up, jumped on his brakes then swerved to stop me filtering. |

Frequently; driving standards in this country are awful.
Thing is, although it may not be a good idea to get angry, and you may end up looking stupid, but when you've just nearly had an accident (how bad this accident could've been you'll never know) the first thing crossing your mind in most cases isn't "I could look silly here" because you're too wrapped up in what just nearly caused you and/or your vehicle to potentially be badly damaged.
I've managed to reframe from actually hitting cars (even though more than once I really wish I had ) but I do have a go with some hand waving and horning, and depending on how bad I might say, if it's dark, give them some main beam in the mirrors or similar.
I know the bigger and better thing is to leave it and carry on as normal, but we're humans and not logical Vulcans - emotion clouds our judgement (i'm not a trekky btw)
Although they may focus on what just happened - they may think twice next time just in case it happens again (unlikely, but we can all hope)

I will generally blast my horn for ages, and shout out a few expletives, but then it's gone...over with...it will be out of my mind minutes later. There is very little that makes my blood boil. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

People make mistakes. I'd be a real hyprocrite to go off on someone for something that may not of been deliberate although it put me at risk. A shake of my head and maybe a stare at the driver as I go past is about my limits. ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |

Forgot about the wing mirrors...broke a couple of them when people tried squeezing through gaps and forcing me off the road; a well aimed whack of the hand as they go by does the trick...both in Turkey again ____________________ '93 Africa Twin RD07, C-90,MTX-125,H-100,XL-125, a 125UAG(CG copy!) |

Minicabs, considering it is their JOB to drive, are some of the WORST drivers.
The type that all the exaggerated generalizations we make are actually all true.
You could be following one, thinking how bad they are, and they will not fail to disappoint by doing something ridiculous.

Tell me about it, they're atrocious.
I was driving the other week and a minicab with blue sidelights(1) and fog lights(2) on (no dipped headlights) did a u-turn without indicating(3) around a traffic island directly in front of a no u-turn sign(4) causing me to have to perform an emergency stop(5) before he sped off at around 40 or 50(6).
As a result I nearly got rear-ended by a police van, who then pulled ME over and told me I should have left more room between me and the car in front so I wouldn't have to brake so sharply. He obviously missed the minicab that committed 6 driving offences, and obviously missed the point that if I should be leaving an adequate space between me and car in front, then so should he.
Got away without a ticket or fine, and rightly so as I didn't do anything wrong (on that occasion), but I did have to endure 5 minutes of lecturing and a moron copper who could do no wrong even though he had. |

Thankfully I'm not as reactive as I used to be, but never say never.
Can't be arsed to repeat what I've done but one incident lead to a telecom bloke on his arse.
Since I've had my bike I'm alot more relaxed.
I blame my genes. ____________________ Diabolical homemade music Bandcamp and Soundcloud

Oh yeah, they're awful! Generalising again, they're the sort of people who claim benefits for no job, but have a minicab on the sidelines (undeclared) and we're paying their living costs from taxes whilst they rake in the (tax free, undeclared) money from their sideline 'job'
My dad thinks taxi's should have 6 month MOT's or more, at a government run MOT station so they can't get let off on anything.
I genuinely cannot believe how bad they are. Like i said, they're the sort that actually do what we all make jokes about.
They can be fun to wind up though...

I get fairly annoyed when some stupid bastard cuts me up but I try and stay calm, don't think I could bring myself to kick a wing mirror off or anything.
Last thing that happened was a guy in an Astra overtake (well the road splits in to two lanes for a roundabout) really closely, literally an inch or two from my knee. I didn't stop and shout but as I filtered past at the lights I gave a nice slip of the clutch and 8k of exhaust to his ear, shame I don't have an open pipe though...
The last time I got aggressive to a guy (in another Astra actually ) was when he pulled out on a mini roundabout without looking, stopped at the light to have a work and ask him what the fuck he was doing. First thing he said was "I didn't see you mate" told him of course you didn't, to weren't looking, he comes out with "you must have been going too fast" bloody fools! ____________________ Bikes Past: Yamaha Aerox (sold) Yamaha R125 (written off)

Actually, to expand on getting away from stupidity, the last time some yoofs in a mirthmobile cut me up in order to get that vital 10 feet closer to the red lights we were approaching, I immediately filtered past them, up to the lights... then rode (with due care and attention) through the red, without a backwards glance.
It's about as illegal as sounding your horn inappropriately, less illegal than anything else you might be tempted to do, and I feel does rather make a nice point about who just won the skirmish for that 10 feet of road. Bitches. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
