Just been reading a book about when British aircraft ruled the skies,And there is a story about the Black Arrows the top british aircraft display team the pull a stunt that still holds the world record today and that was in 1958.

Well i thought it was interesting anyway, as i'd never heard of them and thought it was worth the recognition they deserve.

My late dad had a small metal stamping on his key ring for years. When I asked him what it was he said it was from his days in the RAF police and was a piece of a crashed aircraft from the Black Arrow display team. I used to think he was winding me up because all I'd ever heard of then (70s)was the Red Arrows.
