Looks a bit too bulky for my liking. If i could fit that between my head and helmet id be thinking my helmet was too big....

Most Bike Ballies are far thinner than that.

Would definitely be too thick and make getting the helmet on very hard, if not impossible. And then make the helmet too loose a fit afterwards.

You'd be surprised how even a thin silky one keeps out the cold. I have an Oxford Chill Out one that's thinner than that, but very warm. I also find it restricts my head movement a bit, especially when doing lifesavers. So I tend to just use the neck tubes which have done well so far this winter. No doubt if we get last winter's temperatures again, the balaclava will probably come out.

Does anyone actually get a cold head when wearing a helmet? I mean if you have a fleecy neck tube to keep the wind from whistling up there that's enough isn't it?

Don't do much long distance stuff in winter now but I used to ride the 380 odd mile journey down from Scotland to see my parents at xmas every year and I honestly don't remember ever thinking the top of my head was chilly (unlike the rest of me).

I also use a thermal neck tube, it goes under the collar of my jacket and up to and over my mouth and nose. That way it diffuses my breath so stops the visor fogging up in the winter without wearing one of those silly mask things inside my helmet and it keeps me very warm and very dry, fantastic things. Thumbs Up!

Balaclavas just don't do it for me whilst on a motorcycle, to be thin enough to fit under the helmet okay they just don't protect well against wind or rain, so neck tubes are much better at the job in my opinion. Thumbs Up!

Think it will be a bit too bulky under your helmet as stated earlier.
Also, think it will restrict your peripheral vision a bit as it's a thick material around the outside of your eyes.

Nice one, for £3.25, might as well. I reckon it will be a tight fit but it will keep my head warm.

Some cheapo helmets don't have chunky neck paddings.
If you buy that kind of helmet and choose a bigger size for your head you should feel a little storm between your head and the helmet.
