Passed Mod 1!

Passed my mod 1 test today. Very Happy

Booked it on Wednesday night, thinking 'oh well it's only £15, I'll give it a try', but as it got closer I really wanted to pass it. Laughing

Practiced a few of the maneuvers in the local asda and b & q car parks before hand.

Passed with 3 faults; 2 were forgetting shoulder checks after I stopped for the emergency stop and swerve I think and 1 for the U turn which apparently my front wheel slightly touched the white line.

I was a bit worried I wouldn't mange to hit 50 kph for the swerve and emergency stop, but there was lot more distance for acceleration than I thought and got 53 and 55.

The examiner also made a comment about me braking with 2 fingers instead of 4 which seems to be a bad habit I seem to have picked up.

Weather was nice as well, which was a bonus. Cool

Next mod 2, which I will definitely be getting some training for. Thumbs Up

Great job! I know how you feel, I managed to pass Mod 1 myself on 20th after a daft failure previously (2nd observation on U-turn of course).

Mod 2 booked for mid-March.
