 |
|
I've been riding scooters for 2 years, slowly going up a engine.
I would love to do my test but its very costy!
But hopefully next year I will be able to save enough money for it.
(First 50cc a horrible Chinese import)
(2nd 110cc Honda Lead)
(3rd 125 Honda Innova)
Had a serious crash with my innova, car pulled out on me.
Both my bike and her car was a right off. Luckly didnt break any bones.
(And now my new Honda CBF 125)
I'm new to the 'motorbike' 125 scene.
I want to make this bike my project, do it up a little.
Starting with the exhaust, but as Im a rookie with this stuff,
I would like some advise on it.
What difference will I notice riding the bike with a new exhaust?
Can anyone recommend a type of exhaust?
Ive seen one im interested in
"gbmoto race exhaust"
Any good?
Would really appreciate some advise on this,
Thanks

Well done for keeping going and upgrading to a motorcycle, your world is only just beginning and you wont look back, as for the exhaust is there anything wrong with it, in the photo it looks ok, maybe clean the baffles that would help but as paddy say's leave it standard, if you need to change it for cosmetic reasons well it's your money....stay loose and safe |

CBF is a budget coimmuter bike.
I think they also have a catalyst in the exhaust.
Swapping the stockpipe, may mean the bike wont pass MOT when due. It probably wont do much if anything for performance, and it wont add even a fraction of iots cost to the value; if anything it will reduce value; AND the 'mod' will hike insurance premiums when declared.
Save the money.
If it ent broke, dont fix it.
Put cash towards riding & having fun; getting tests & full bike licence; (This year to avoid 3rd dir licence laws) & a biger bike there-after. ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
