hi all, I have a Chinese import road going 125 dirt bike, it seams to have developed an electrical fault as in it wont charge, I have replaced the battery, still not charging, I have had the magneto checked and I have also replaced that, along with the regulator, still I have charging problems. Now my bike was registered in 2005 on a 55 plate, the engine is original, but only has kick start, I have worked out that it is an early cg125 honda engine,I had big problems getting a stator for it 8 pole 5 wires but only 80mm width against the listed 89mm stator. As you can imagine I had to chop off the connector block from the new stator and reconnect using new terminals have I connected them wrong ? I dont think so however there was an extra wire on the new stator that I have taken away, can anyone help me with this .....
