VAY on Air Ambulance fuel.

Hi Guys
I have not been on the forum for a long time but need your help if at all possible.
I had a discussion at a bikers rally last year that was being held in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, when I was told by the fund raiser for the YAA that the air ambulance charities have to pay the VAT on the fuel they use, so 17'5% (At that time) of what we bikers made for the charity would go to HM Treasury.

I was fuming and started a campaign to try and get this changed. This campaign has now got into full swing and so I am asking as many bikers and other friends that are likely to need the assistance of the Air Ambulance to sign my E-Petition and if you frequent any other forums please post the link on them.

Not sure how effective it'll be, but I've put my name on it. For any emergency service to pay for VAT on fuel is ridiculous.
