Whats the best way to practice ready for my module 1 and 2?
Im planning on getting it done within the next 3 months so that its out of the way and i can get a bigger bike.
Also is having a sat nav mounted to a bike a good idea? I was thinking about getting one so that i can go on longer journeys that i am at the moment, but im not entirely sure its safe...

Any help would be appreciated. Thumbs Up

For the mod 1 just download the layout, watch the vids on youtube and then go practice in an empty carpark etc...

For mod 2 you need to practice your roadcraft and get confident being on the road in traffic.
Work on your road positioning, your observation and be confident but ride defensively, especially at roundabouts.
Read the highway code.

I agree, and a couple of training lessons wouldnt go a miss, especially for mod 2, a good trainer will give you sound advice and pick up on your bad points ( if any I might add ) to set you straight...good luck Thumbs Up stay loose and safe Smile

Satnav? Why not just buy a map, memorise your route and if you get lost refer to the map or just ask someone the way? Cheaper and safer than being distracted by a leccy gizmo.

And yes I am an old fashioned middle aged git.

I use the sat nav on my phone with directions through one headphone, works pretty well actually.
