So I am new to biking. I have less than one years riding experience (95 Honda CG125 and now 92 Honda NSR125) and have come to realise bikers are just better people. A few months back I came of my NSR at 45mph and the car behind me carried straight on past me and while I was was picking my shaken ass up of the floor another couple of cars went past just ignoring my accident. About a minute later another biker pulled up and asked if i was ok. He hadn't seen me crash and was shocked when i said i had just come off (he couldn't see the side of the bike with the gravel rash on the faring (?) and broken indicators). Just goes to show the difference.

4 wheels is obviously just 2 too many!

Well done mate. You just experienced the biker spirit. It's some kind of unspoken club! You'll generally find that bikers tend to be more friendly than the car drivers.

My idea is that they know how it feels to come off / be stuck with a broken down bike alone, as it happens to everyone at least once. Well, more than once to me LOL.

Definately been there and done that once or twice. No matter what machine you have got (unless its a scooter/hair drier) you always get acknowledgement from other riders. Sat at junctions etc. its always the same.

Sarge.
