so how do you go about doing this? I checked their website and it said a reciept for the engine will do, so I sent them a paypal one to prove i had purchased it, gave the engine numbers and the cc, and they just sent the V5 back completely unchanged....???

Your post isn't very clear...

Was it bigger? Non-standard? From a different model bike?

I think most importantly did it change the classification of the bike?

It was smaller as prices for normal was stupid (+no point declaring it the same)

From the same model bike so a simple swap, Standard engine, nothing changed since factory made

Classification changed for tax band, cheaper???

Aah, interesting, sorry I can't help. I thought I'd ask just though in case you'd done what I had researched, which was to put a bigger engine into a smaller bike.

Which incidentally was quite straight forward as modifying a vehicle works on a point system which is designed to allow most modifications (apart from new frame/sub-frame) without the need for re-registering or a DVLA vehicle test.

Sure one of the regulars will be along soon to help you out Very Happy
