Hey BCF,

My CBF600 was involved in an accident a few months ago, and I've just got round to sorting out the bike. Put the battery on a charge and went to start it up today. Had a little bit of trouble getting it to start up, was ticking over but wouldn't start. Ended up eventually getting it to start after a few pushes of the button. However, it'd cut out again almost instantly - sort of the same thing you'd expect if the idle speed was too low.

Tried giving it some revs, but unless I just held them on, it'd cut out as soon as I lower the revs even the slightest bit.

Any ideas?

Resolved.

There was only a small amount of fuel in there and it'd been sat for a while - eventually got it started by just hammering the button a few more times and leaving it to idle with some choke on. Seems to be running fine with fresh fuel.
