Problems with searching (why can't I find XYZ?!)

Your searches may not find very many posts at the moment, or may not go very far back in time.

This is due to the forum search index becoming corrupted and having to be cleared. I have started rebuilding the index, however it's a very slow process as it can only run in the background when not much forum activity is happening - so it will take a number of days to index the last year or so.

Please bear with it, and apologies for the inconvenience...

Remember you can always search the public areas of BCF with google: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site%3Abikechatforums.com - just add what you're searching for after this.

This is now fixed, a full re-index slowed the forum down too much so from now on, only the last 18 months of posts will be searchable. For anything older than that, Google is your friend...

(I remember it included "google")
I want to search the post but I can't do a search.

Any chance of tweaking the search engine to allow you to search topic titles only? Why would you even want to do a search in topics but exclude their titles?
