As being pretty new to biking, i'm slowly building up my clothing collection.

At present I only have a Leather Jacket, a dodgy Dainese textile jacket and some textile trousers which are falling apart.

So i've been scouring fle-bay for a decent textile jacket. After bidding on what has seemed dozens of jackets I finally won an auction Very Happy .

Went to pay for it through paypal, "errrr what the hell" it wanted me to pay for 3 items not 1. Turned out in the last 4 days I had actually won another jacket and some trousers without realising....... DOH!
I use my gf's ebay account and she is always buying stuff and hadn't realised that on the summary page it was listing as cheapest winning auctions first. Due to this it did not list the items I had won in the 1st page.

So has anyone else fired in a maximum bid and then forgot to check if they ended up winning the auction??

Or is it just me being blonde????

I usually keep my max bids low and just bump them up bit by bit, or snipe at the end. I don't think i've ever just slapped a bit on and forgotten about it Laughing

I now have 2 pairs of textile trousers...luckily they were both fairly cheap!

The gf has gave me a do's and dont's for e-bay usage. I haven't used it much and when I have its usually on a Buy Now price.

Yup I can't be bothered with auctions these days. Too many times the price has gone way too high, or the buyer has changed their mind when I got a bargain. So these days I just treat it as a shop and 'buy it now' random things you'd never find anywhere else.

So, are you going to pay up or screw the sellers?

If you are referring to me, I have already paid up.
