Kriega US20/30 . I use the US-30 on a speed triple, very secure fittings, easy to use, comes with a shoulder strap for when you are off the bike. Fully waterproof, and has 10 year guarantee.
I had a look at various options, and the Kriega stuff is just in a different league. Very nice bags.

You can get 10% off first order I think too if you register with their VIP scheme as that is what I did!
Hope that helps  ____________________ Current bike: 2005 Triumph Speed Triple 1050 :: Previous Bikes: 2001 Kawasaki ZZR-600 E9 (Sold) 1996 Yamaha Diversion 600s (Sold),1997 Honda CB250 Nighthawk (Sold), 1988 Honda VFR 400 NC24 (Written Off), 1987 Honda CB350 S-G (Sold), Yamaha DT125 (Sold), Honda X8R-S 50cc (Stolen) |

How easy are they to fit and would it have a problem with the high lvl exhaust on the Hornet? ____________________ 05 Honda CG125 now 03 Honda CB600F Hornet |

You could always have a look at the Kriega rucksacks aswell, they're meant for use on the bike and are very comfy!
I've even used to R35 for carrying stuff back home from uni on the train, fully laden with a 17" laptop in it comfy as hell!
Can be had off ebay in good condition for around £70
How bigs the laptop? I think you might struggle to find a tailpack that has the dimensions to accomodate a large laptop.
I did buy a large hold-all bag from hein gericke for £6 which is fully waterproof and straps to the back seat... Doesnt have carry handles though ____________________ A2 Passed 18/6/10 |

What about a tank bag? Obviouslt would need a decent size one lime the one I had on the Daytona...but I really didn't mind having a bag there that I could see all the time, rather than one at the back |

Kreiga are definately good but part of the "rediculously expensive" group of accessories - same with the "Wolf" range of luggage. I suspect both have a very high profit percentage so they won't be getting my custom. A tank bag might be better for the laptop but if you get a tail pack like Givi, Oxford, FT Cargo etc, make sure you get one that expands, they're almost twice the size of the ones that don't. There are some decent looking "holdall" type rear luggage available for bikes now that can hold much more than trad tail packs, might look into getting one myself this summer. ____________________ Space Is Deep |

Forgot to add -- the link shows how you can attach the us10 or 20 to the R20.
I will soon have tank adaptor plus us20 to complement my r20 and us10.

Kriega are brill, but you have to go careful with the straps, when you leave the bike, you may accidentally leave the strap hanging on the exhaust, which then melts the strap. But otherwise excellent. Also expandable as shown in the picture. But very expensive.
BAGSTER, as also shown in the picture as. Tank bag are also fantastic, but expensive.
SW Motch are also very good, but expensive.
The cheaper ones like Oxford First tailpack etc are ok, nd I used them when I first leant to ride.
A quick search online also provided this link with some good offers.
https://www.getgeared.co.uk/Motorcycle_Luggage/Motorcycle_Luggage_Deals
Hope that helps.

I have just bought a set of Oxford 1 soft panniers and they seem to be quite good.
They`ll never do for a trans-continental safari, but for week-enders they`ll be fine.
Two straps over the seat and one strap under the seat + fixing loops + extra straps to use as you see fit + bungees all came with it.
Nice and secure ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |
