Current thinking is to get Alex a cd/mp3 player and a huge pile of batteries, maybe the same for Ste, not sure yet (gonna talk in the irc room about that in a min). Maybe a giant fluffy hobbit...

I was actually formulating a plan along these lines.

I'm not sure how, what or why etc, but I think at least a little something for Ste's mum would be nice... From what I've seen she's been beside his bed the whole time and has been really good with everyone. Not quite sure what would be appropriate though, or the situation with other parents etc.
