Is it a pulsing? Can you feel it in the brake lever? That would suggest a brake problem such as warped discs, failing master cylinder, a bubble somewhere in the system, old fluid ect.
If the front feels hard and the tyre is 'skipping' over bumps then it will probably be your suspension bottoming out.
It could also be other things.

Checked your tyre pressures?? You may have lost a few psi since August ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
