The taped headlight is now fixed.

On the list is:
fork seals.
steering lock.
front and rear brakes.
new mirrors.
new front brake lever.
new spare key cut.
fix the centre stand.

and just a basic overhaul to make sure all is right.

even had the original service booklet, and the toolkit was complete too. and there were even 3 spare fuses behind the side panel like there should be.

so overall im happy Smile.

All now complete should of taking a pic of the big box of goodies david silver sent me but never mind.

Battery cover side panel now has the correct locating grommets, and the correct screw, and 3 spare fuses behind it as it should.

Mirrors are on, spare key cut, steering lock fitted, rear rack on the way and top box to follow.

And I've a DIY front screen project in the making.

Pictures to follow tomorrow.

Finished my DIY front screen, gave up on finding a method to put a bend in the plastic so just left it flat.

https://img839.imageshack.us/img839/959/p1020010j.th.jpg

Took it out for a spin and as to be expected it handled like a sack of spuds! high turbulance and barshake from 35 upwards. Anyway soon whipped it off and abandonned the idea was fun pissing about with it though as i was only in to it £7.

And then added my hobgoblin sticker to beneath the plate, not to everyones choice of course, the reflector looks a bit gay though i think so on the look for a different styled one to keep it legal.

Thanks.

I bought some tiny self adhesive ones from the ebay and stuck one to my number plate - you could do the same and stick one on your HobGoblin plate if you wanted to tidy it up.

Great Idea and cheap too, thanks danny Thumbs Up

//Edit

Think i'll go for those to use for bolting my hobgoblin plaque to the number plate at the same time, and cut off the tab for the bicycle reflector.
