Have to agree with you there Paddy.

But for the record, because it was a cheap and fun form of transport.

Because my mum used to tell me that if I spent a long time sitting on wet bike seats I would get piles and I so wanted to prove her wrong.

I wouldn't say this site was particularly power ranger, I reckon there's more learners/people starting out with a sprinkling of wise sages and a few idiots. I like it here, it's.....well different to most other sites, quite refreshing actually.

Because at seven years old, I couldn't reach the pedals in the car, and see through the windscreen at the same time!
I couldn't drive a go-kart round the garden.
And my mother had abandoned a moped that had failed its MOT in the garage!

Because that's what they are designed for. I suppose I could butter it, but I bet it wouldn't taste very nice.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I had one of them.. Looking back, I think it did look rather silly on a Honda P50, but I was a kid then Smile

Because when I was a youngun' my aunt and uncle had, and still have, a 60's Triumph Thunderbird and a 70's Bonneville.
They got me a little helmet, a little leather jacket and small sunglasses and that was it. I was an awesome biker. Cool

Have been ever since! Very Happy
