Varadero 125 (2003) Project Bike

Well as most of you know my son got knocked off my old baby Dero back in December, insurance now all sorted out, driver facing prosecution for undue care and attention. Son has decided to use the insurance pay out to do DAS so we are left with the bike which I thought I would advertise here first before ebay if anybody fancy's a good 125 which needs fixing up. We did think about doing it ourselves but wont have space in th garage once he gets anouther bike. May consider breaking but would prefer not to due to limited space.

Bad points.

CAT C Recorded

Fairings broke,
Handle bars bent,
Forks are pushed back slightly
Headlight has broken lug
Fairing bracket bent
Small ding to tank but fairings will cover this,
Bar ends scraped
Scrape to exhaust pipes and mudguard (not bad, barely noticible) Cracked rear seat panel,
Usual lever scapes on the front brake lever
Rear brake pedal bent slightly in, looks like it will bend out ok.
Mirrors broke
Top box reflector cracked but top box itself works fine
Crack to Givi Touring screen
Expansion bottle broke
Speedo has a broken lug but dash is not moving anywhere

Good Points

Its got brand new hagon shock
New chain and sprockets
New front brake disc and pads to back and front
New throttle and clutch cable
It was serviced quite late last year,
I'm going to take the hot grips off for his next bike but may leave them on for the right deal.
I do have a spare set of mirrors, bar ends and an extra exhaust sheild which will come with it.There may even be some other spares floating round the garage which will be included if there is. Tyres are good with about 3mm on each (BT45)
Mileage is 33,000
Still has tax and test

Price, well after speaking with a very helpfull member on here we are taking his advice and putting it up for £700ono when it go's on ebay, as these bikes hold their value and it has a lot of new expensive parts recently fitted, will obviously do a discount for any BCF members if anybody is interested.

Bike can be viewed in London E6 most evenings or week ends.
