Road to gettin a bigger bike

I have ridden a ped for a while and want to get a bigger bike my has an 1997 GSXR 600 an he said i could have it when i do my bike test
i want to get an NSR125 to get a hold of the gears an clutch side
how long would it take to get ready for a test( i want to do a 2-3day course once im ready).
p.s the GSXR will be restricted to 33bhp

How quick a learner are you? At the end of the day it comes down to how quickly you can take on board, retain and then put into practice the techniques the examiner will want to see on test.

Some riders with experience need no more than a couple of 1 hour sessions whilst others need two or three full days.

Speak to a local riding instructor/school and they will be able to give you the advice, and normally if you go to one of the smaller schools they will give you more of an honest answer as they rely on reputation rather than bucks and numbers.

its really down to the rider mate, i went a year on my cbt before i did my test, and the nsr clutch wont really tell you alot about the 600's...its 125 and a 2 stroke, so theres very little clutch dragging etc needed....( well it didn't help me, i stalled my ninja a couple times before i got used to it).

Other than that i don't really know much about the week courses etc...other than most people who try to take the short cut that test gives end up failing?? Theres no substitute for experience mate...do a few months on your nsr before4 you think about your test.
