For sale catalog?

Dunno if anyone will like this idea, or if it has been sujested before, but i't seems that if you want a part, someone always knows someone who WAS selling that part. Would it be possible to have a catalog of things that are for sale that can be easily searched? Of course it would be up to the seller to alter their list if an item is no longer available, also people can see who has bought off who, so they may feel more sercure in handing over money. Yes, I know this isn't E-bay, before I get any smart comments, but nearly all of us have bought something off another user, and as it is always a race against time to fix a machine (well if it is your main form of transport anyway), this may speed up the buying process. Anyway just a though.

Nothing I suppose, it's just it would be an up-to-date (live if you like) database so instead of a 'mabe he/she still has it' to 'they do still have it'. Ok, it might be lazyness, but I'm sure it would speed things up a tad.

If people would bother to update their listings in E&M, deleting them when they're sold or no longer wanted, we'd have similar.
