Then you're not exactly in a position to be choosy. You're not going to get any MOT'd taxed running 125 for much under £500, so you'll be fighting over the scraps with everyone else.
The 'good' point about that Skyjet is that you can probably part it out for a good portion of that money, especially if you sell the plastics as "CBR125 (compatible (may need minor adjustment))".
I'm not recommending it, I'm just saying that if that's your budget then you'll be need to be patient, lucky, proactive, and strike like a ninja when a good bike comes up. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I tend to agree with the others, save up a few more pennies, " all good things come to those who have patience " or just go for it and HOPE that you can recoup your funds later when you sell it on, Hmmmm, no, save up a little longer, will be cheaper and have a more reliable bike in the long run... good luck
P.S Keep looking on Ebay or Gum Tree you still might find what your looking for ____________________ First bike R reg Suzuki 125 GT twin in 1978:

For £550, try Halfords.... it will have pedals, instead of an engine, but you wont have to buy a helmet, gloves, a CBT course, or insurance...
Have you budgeted for any of this stuff?
CBT is likely to set you back £100-£150
A Helmet; £50-£100
Insurance? Depending on how old you are, where you live; more than the budget for your bike!
Meanwhile; £500 is basically the bare minimum to find ANY bike with tax and test on it, likely to have a running engine, and air in the tyres. Its not a budget you can be particularly 'choosy' in, between styles of bike! Or hope to get anything wonderully great to ride or even moderately reliable.
£750, you stand better chance to get 'something' useful, that ought to be reasonably reliable and rideable; and not TOO big a money pit; but you'll still not be able to be too choosey over what style of bike you get for that money.
£1000? You are just into the realms where you might be a 'bit' descerning, and have SOME choice and stand chance of getting a bike that stands a chance of not being 'useful' reliable and reletively cheap to own.
But £1500, is whats needed if you want much 'choice' and to actually be able to find bikes that overall, are likely to be 'good' value for money, and provide 'cheap' riding. (The irony of NEEDING money, to SAVE money.)
And THEN you have the overheads; of CBT, Riding Gear and Insurance.
AND, CBT only validates your LEARNER LICENCE... its not a ticket to ride indefinitely on L-Plates. Its not a qualification, its merely the 'first lesson'. Intension, particularly here and now, with new licence laws looming in just over ten months time; OUGHT to be to get a bike, get trained, get tested and get a licence with it, ASAP.
To get on the road; on a 'useful' 125, get all the kit, and everything you need to get a full licence; you need probably £2-3ooo.
Being 'cheap', you might be able to do it for £1500ish.... you'd have a licence at the end of it, if you are lucky, but probably not one worth much; and only bare minimum of riding kit.
Whereas, working in the higher budgets; you would probably still have £1200's worth of bike you could cash in, and £2-300's worth of riding gear, and your 'learner-riding' would have been a lot easier, and dogged by less hassle working round inadequecies of sub-standard bike, and mechanical failures.
Sorry; not great news; but those are the ecconomics of reality. ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
