Partner kicked my arse into gear about putting off biking since 17 (now 23) this is the wonderful mother of my amazing daughter.

End result. Cbt next weekend. YBR 125 Custom with my name on it end of the month.

I put mine off for five years. My dad nearly killed himself on bikes and my mother is very against bikes, but my partner, although we have a kid together, knows I will not be "me" without one was the motivation I needed.

Strange how these things work

It was quite a while before my ex and I could bear to be away from our little ones, but when you get your full licence - why not do the IAM or RoSPA course together?

Ride safe and be happy Smile

My Uncle died in a motorcycle accident in Deutschland when he was my age (24) and other family members had numerous offs etc, so naturally my family were like "eeeeerrrrrr...." when I started motorcycling, especially given how English roads are not up to ze same kvality as ze German roadz Smile But they came around to the idea and were made up for me when I got full license etc Smile Just takes a bit of respect and discussion all round.
Plus my Girlfriend is Polish and I promised her a motorcycle trip to our respective homelands in summer, so she quickly became very supportive Smile
