FYI and FWIW this just popped into my Facebook field of view...
GetGeared in Leeds are having a 2012 product launch evening tonight. Sorry for the short notice.
Advert says 10% discount of anything, free chilli and tea/coffee.
Event between 6 and 9pm. Address is 5 Regent Street Leeds. IIRC it's the same street that Hein Gericke and other bike accessory shops are on (e.g. Hein Gericke).
