Question about V5

Just bought a new bike and the guy never sent the V5 off when he bought it. It just has the signature of the previous owner and dated 12/11/11?

The rest is blank so do i just fill out my details and send of using todays date or the date the previous owner has wrote??

Don't sweat it. The V5 is a liability, not an asset. Just get a record that you've told the DVLA that you're the new keeper, let them sort it out.

Same here, the guy i brought the 636 from last month lived in bournemouth yet the original owner is registerd to someone in Welwyn Garden City - did ask why, but its because they were both marines and one got deployed sooner the then other.
Had no issue - yet Laughing

But i sent the V5 off on the date I brought it Thumbs Up
