Got £30 to spend on something cool and random this month.

Any cool gadgets anyone seen recently?

A vinturi wine aerator.
https://www.thinkgeek.com/images/products/additional/carousel/b77d_vinturi_essential_wine_aerator_inuse.jpg

Passes the "pepsi challenge" on a freshly opened bottle of wine every time.

This.

I have one and it has obviously and patently improved any bottle of wine I've ever put through it. I didn't believe it until I tried it.

Noooooo! I'm not currently drinking (not just because I'm ill either), and this makes my wine lust very difficult to control.

Where do I get one from?

Just Google it. They're all over the place. Amazon is as good a place to start as anywhere. There are loads like it on the market - I can only big-up the Vinturi though, as that's the one I have.

I do enjoy the occasional bottle of wine but not enough to warrant a wine aerator.

I have decided I want a new grinder.

This is a decent one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-0-Silver-4-Piece-SHARPSTONE-Aluminum-AUTHENTIC-Herb-Grinder-FREE-SHIPPING-/270846642759?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0fb7ca47#ht_600wt_951

Had sharpstone before and it was awesome.

Any other suggestions? Needs to be at least 3" or 60mm.

You can pick grass apart with your thumbnail. You can't aerate wine with it.

You honestly have no idea. This thing adds a fiver to any given bottle of wine. It also looks cool, feels cool in the hand and makes a cool noise.

You can pick up a working Sega Megadrive/SNES and few games for about £30, pick at the "herbs" you're grinding and get a few mates round, relive your youth.

I notice an empty loo roll tube their, convieniently placed aside the laptop with internet access....... Shocked

Anyways, the missus folks got me this for my birthday:

https://www.firebox.com/product/2638/Gyro-Flyer-RC-Helicopter

And it's awesome, already taken a beating and still going strong, I've been late for work twice in a row now because as I'm about to leave I think "just a quick flight" and fart around with it for ten minutes.

£30 to grind up some weed? Really?

Toilet roll cable storage for the win. Took picture with camera, needed a micro-USB cable to upload picture to computer.

Nope. I'm about the untidiest person I know.

I did however have a major tantrum a couple of months back because I was wiring in my home cinema couldn't find a single fucking cable I wanted. I literally had a big cardboard box into which I'd thrown any cable I wasn't currently using. When I did eventually find them, I then had to untangle them.

When I'd finished stamping about the house and throwing stuff, I untangled them all, laid them straight on the floor, threw out any specialist ones for which I no longer had the thing they plug into and sorted the rest into bog roll tubes as and when they became available.

I now share a house with a woman so we go through a phenomenal amount of bog roll now. Easily four or five times as much as I use when living by myself and she's only home half the time. I usually try to go for a shit at work.

Grinders are pointless, and they can only be used for one thing, so anyone finding it immediately knows you're a stoner.

Yes, I have used them, even when I was smoking every day it was easier just to use my fingers.
