Another movie question

Does anybody know what this movie is?

Rough plot:

Youngish bloke (late 20s, early 30s) from an apparently quite rich family, "wakes up" just as he is about to go under the knife for some kind of major surgery (?heart bypass)

He's unable to speak or make himself heard by any of the surgical staff around the table, and I think he ends up having to "undergo" the surgery whilst wide awake (but I fell asleep in the middle of it, at the time I was on a plane to NZ)

Don't want to spoil the plot (cos I kind of woke up halfway through it but then fell asleep again)

But it also involves his girlfriend, maybe mother/mother-in-law?

I don't recall any of the actors, they are probably more famous now, but at the time I was like "wtf, who are all these people?"

If anybody knows the title, I'd be grateful, as I'd quite like to watch it all the way through, when I am wider awake

I could never understand the numbering system, all that sequel/prequel bollocks.

I think I only watched the ones with Harrison Ford in (?the first three ever produced?) . The last one I remember watching was the one when he got frozen into a space mong or something.
