Hi,

Anyone know any good sites which supply ER-5 accessories?

Preferably fairings....

There's a /very/ cheap ER-5 (2000 model, red) being sold locally and I am interested but need a fairing!!! (screen at least).

How about the replacement front top fairings that Demon Tweaks sell??? Are they easy to fit?

Much appreciated,

Mark

Actually if you look in this months? Ride magazine you would see that it is a horrible bike. I think there's better commuters out there but if your getting a good deal then go for it.

yes lets all not do or buy anything unless ride magazine say so.

i was just saying i think its a cracking bike... i got given one as a courtesy bike a while back and i honestly liked it, it seemed to ride and handle very well....although the gearbox is abit "lumpy" typical kawasaki me thinks....my ninja has the same thing Wink

I had a little universal fly screen on mine called raptor if think.

paid about 60 quid and it fitted easy enough.

It made a big difference to my commute.

Not as much as buying a CBR did though !! Laughing

It was a bit like this one:

Powerbronze do everything from little fly screens to full aftermarket fairings. The full 'Viper' fairing I put on the CB made a huge difference to motorway riding and looked alright too.

Nothing wrong with the ER-5, I spent many days on one doing my DAS and it does exactly what it says on the tin. When it came to buying, I went for the CB500 instead, but there's really not a whole lot in it.

And he strikes with such wit!
Well like I said, in my opinion theres far better options available. Doesn't mean I wouldn't buy one even if a magazine trashes it.

GTI that wasn't meant as an attack on you mate....just a point. ok magazines are good for info and ride in particular.....but those guys who test the bikes are just blokes..like you and me (ok older) who ride a bike and give there opinion.

Did the vast majority of my DAS (and the test) on an ER-5 and some of the time on a CB500 and a GS500, the er-5 quality wise felt far superior to both the honda and the suzuki (and hondas are my first choice in bike maker too) generally felt like a better bike as if it had been built by craftsmen not crosseyed monkeys with spanners (though i've no doubt they are both damn good bikes)..
But living with a bike and having a ride on one is a big difference, between the three in that case i'd have had the cb500..

Anyways, Order an M&P catalog and have a look though their farings (lots more in the book than on the internet site).
