this new French law which says every car should carry a breathalyser applies to bikers too. I've done a search and can't find anything specific that mentions bikes.
Hopefully one of you guys/gals can tell me as I'm taking my bike there in July

My Frog isn't 100% & I won't be doing Le Mans this year, I 'think' that the laws will only come in around Novemberish, but I'd expect cheapish blow in the bag type breathalysers should be plenty available at ports of entry now.

Your research into whatever else you MUST carry should already have flagged this up, it's VERY important that you get it right 'cos their cops ain't stoopid, they don't suffer fools gladly, they're very quick with les on le spot fines . . . & they all carry guns.

Got the gf to translate this and asked her about what shes read in the french papers.

Law was made in 1970, becoming official 40 years later. Will be an 11 euro fine, and all vehicles must have it.
Two types, electric more expensive ones and disposables.

I recall being at a wine festival in avignon and getting a test tube type thing with a blowhole and chemical rocks in it that turn a different colour if you are over the limit, maybe these will be around?
