Late payments of traffic fines

Hey guys just wondering if anyone knew what the penalty was if you send in your fine payment by post 1 day late or something? I know its 50% + charge but anything else?

I had one for £30, it claimed that if I did not pay them within 30 days it would be up to £60. Ba$tards! Evil or Very Mad

You are right that it is +50% if not paid within the 30 days, after that it is usually a further 15 days and then if still not paid summonses will be issued and the fixed penalty is struck off and it becomes a conventional court matter.
