bike hates any weather apart from warmth...

hi guys,

currently have an fzr 600 3he, it runs fine when started but thats the problem...

It wont start all the time, e.g when it was -2 it wouldn't start. Today its been raining heavily all day, went to start it and guess what.... starts but only on 3/2 cylinders.

Currently doesn't have side fairings but meh...

My question is... are the coils getting wet? are the plugs getting wet? im at a suck here >.<

How the heck would we know! We may be pretty good, but we're not clairvoyant!
You need 3 things for 'life'
- Fuel
- Compression
- Sparks
But you also need a decent 'kick' to get the thing spun up.
- Electric Start, what's your battery condition like?
When it wont start on teh button, will it 'bump'?
Do you have good healthy sparks on all plugs?
Do you have healthy compression on all pots?
Are the plugs 'damping' / fuel getting into the cylinders?
Are you using too much choke? Not enough choke?
Have the carbs been cleaned?
Are the idle jets clogged?
Have the CV diagphrams perished? (Do the slides go up and down when you rev the engine)?
Help US Help YOU... go do some basic checks and tell us your findings.
