hi just purchased a lovely 96 triumph 900 sprint. rode to ireland at the weekend and my rev counter began to have a mind of its own by by goin up and down and then settling at normal revs,however the engine was fine just the needle was erratic. any ideas Smile

My Triumph Speed Four did this when the battery was flat. However I believe the 900 sprint has a cable driven rev counter so that would rule that out I would check the cable. Thumbs Up

My 96 Speed Triple does the same thing. I put it down as 'character'....
