Yeah! I'm a rebel! Rebelling on my bike! Woo! Now... what clothes am I allowed to wear?

Fashion victim.

If it helps, bike coppers tend to wear leather trousers and textile tops.

I've been riding for almost a year and never left the house without my textile jacket and leather trousers. I think it looks alright, no one really cares what you look like, even more so with people that don't ride. When I first got my bike, my mate was looking at my textile jacket and asked me, is that real leather? Before I had time to answer, he was already coming up to sniff it and said, yeh...yeh it is.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I'm rarely seen out these days without a textile top and leather trousers.

It can cause quite a stir in Lidl, let me tell you...

I'll also add that the "can I wear leather with textile/tuck my jeans into my boots?" threads have also started too.

Oh, and like midges on my orange tent, the "does anyone nod anymore/why don't sportsbike riders nod at me, is it coz I'm on a cruiser?" threads will arrive en masse shortly.

Is it normal in your circle of friends to sniff each others clothing?
