Recently I came to a decision that I wanted to turn my chinese bike into a bobber, why? because I think bobbers look rocking.

The bike is a Zongshen Arizona 125cc, everything was pretty much stock until a couple of weeks ago.
Firstly, my new exhaust came through today to replace the standard one (which sounded like wind in a tunnel)
I had to saw the original can off to fit the new one because the stock can was welded to the downpipe, but this was not a problem.

As far as the result goes, all I can say is excellent! pretty surprised by the results to be honest. There was no re-jetting needed surprisingly, after having it checked over.

Here's a video of the result.

I will keep updating this thread as I continue to rebuild this bike as a bobber if there's interest Smile

Cheers guys.

Impressive sound from a 125.

Those Arizona's are far too fussy and chrome so ripping parts off it will be a good thing Wink

Someone will be a long shortly to tell you it can only be a good thing to remove parts from a Chinese bike - less to go wrong!

haha thanks Smile The sound is still overwhelming right now.
Yeah, you see the thing is, I've had the bike almost a year, done almost 15,000 miles on it, and not had any problems at all, other than a headlight no brighter than a cheap torch, which I replaced with a bates 55/60w and is much better....

I agree though, stripping it down and rebuilding with custom parts will avoid any future problems which are most likely going to occur...

It's quite exciting really, first ever motorbike related project.
