honda xr 125 fork seals

hi all, im going to do my fork seals this weekend as one has started leaking. ive never done fork seals before so am not sure excatly what to do . do i need any special tools, and does any one know excatly what tools i will need? also, any other pointers would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need patience.

Oil seals, dust seals, you might find you need bushes once you have taken them apart. Possibly even the spilt ring that sits on top of the oil seal.

You can pull the stanchions apart...its a challenge on some bikes.

Also they have a spring in them, which I found can do some damage if you are careless But try loosening the fork top bolts before removing from the yokes. Might make it easier for you.
