So iv purchased this bike, needed a lil work doing to her, fixed her up and temporarily had the carbs balanced instead of not even idling or running properly, been riding her for 4 days now, done about 300 miles, she is getting a lot better but iv noticed, on a straight, she just gives up puff at 80mph

If i wana get more out of her, I have to REALLY tug on the throttle (been told it wont open fully and sticks a bit) and from what I know, I have quite a bit of free play on the throttle cables for a big bike

but I dont think this is why this would give up puff at 80 completely, anyone know anything to do with this????

You've pretty much answered that one yourself.

Well apart from posting in the workshop for this issue Rolling Eyes

I would be taking the throttle grip off and the cable to free them off and get the adjustment correct.

Who balanced the carbs ?

Could be that throttle slides are sticking.
